jMAN jR
Keyboards
jMAN jR was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew
up however, in Montgomery, AL. In Montgomery
he set school music records everywhere he
went, was declared a music legend by his junior
high school, and won so many other music awards
that eventually he ran out of wall space for the
accolades.

jMAN also grew up playing music in church, a
part of his background that strongly influences
his style today. Back home, he was known for his
strong work ethic and musical drive as he learned
to play nearly a dozen instruments before
finishing high school.

Later on, jMAN made the big move out to Los
Angeles with little money and the classic big
dream of success in the music industry, and in
2006, he finished studies at USC with a degree in
Music Industry. Since then, he has been on a
tear, traveling the country and performing in
middle schools, high schools, colleges,clubs,
stadiums and more. Most recently he performed
at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, the largest
musical products showcase in the United States.

His versatile style has also allowed him to share
the stage with the world famous Harlem Gospel
Choir, international blues legend Linda Hopkins,
gospel great Shirley Caesar, Motown artists
Johnny Britt and LeMarvin, rappers The Game
and Soulja Boy, R&B singer RazB from B2K, and
more. jMAN jR is also the theme song producer
and music supervisor for a popular internet drama
called Fine Church Girls.

In addition to being an instrumentalist, jMAN jR is
an innovative hip hop artist in the making who
draws from various influences and experiences to
create a show like none other. He stretches the
hip hop imagination and incorporates other
elements of entertainment that set his show
apart from the rest. At a jMAN jR concert, it's all
about the show. He performs with a live band,
and his songs are very musical. It's also not
uncommon to see these performers show off on
their instruments, performing backwards,
blindfolded, upside down, and more. It's really
something you just have to see for yourself.
